Arbor Creek

Arbor Creek linear park in Arbor Creek Saskatoon

Located on Saskatoon’s east side, just south of Erindale and west of Willowgrove, Arbor Creek was primarily developed between 1996 and 2006. Housing consists of mostly single-family homes but reasonable selections of town homes are also available. Residents of Arbor Creek are some of Saskatoon’s most affluent and that wealth is reflected in the housing stock where homes priced below the average selling price for Saskatoon are nearly non-existent, while homes priced at twice the average are common.

While Arbor Creek is a “family neighbourhood,” there are presently no schools in the immediate area. Elementary school students in both the public and catholic school systems are transported to schools in neighbouring communities by bus. High school students utilize the public transit system to reach nearby St. Joseph and Centennial Collegiate, both of which are regarded as excellent high schools.

Arbor Creek is home to four public park areas including the linear park. Between them, area residents enjoy basketball, baseball and soccer amenities. A number of nice children’s playgrounds also exist. Additionally, there are plenty of paved walking trails through these park areas.

Arbor Creek is ideally located for those working or studying at the University of Saskatchewan, which can be reached by car in just a few minutes. Downtown Saskatoon is just a couple of more minutes beyond campus. Preston Crossing is also easily accessed from this superb location.

This community is supported by the Erindale/Arbor Creek Community Association, a community organization of volunteers providing a variety of quality programs for children and adults.

We moved to Arbor Creek four years ago and it is the best real estate decision we have ever made. The area is full of parks, the best walking trails in Saskatoon and two of the city’s best greenhouses are also located nearby. Are you a golfer ? We even have a driving range and a miniature golf course with REAL grass greens. Everything you need is very close by, including shopping malls and grocery stores. In my opinion, there are two very much sought after area’s in Saskatoon, Arbor Creek and Briarwood, with the later being more expensive to live in. Compare condo numbers in both area’s – Arbor Creek has less condo’s and more single home dwellings. Arbor Creek is THE area to live in!

We have lived in Arbor Creek for five years. Absolutely love it! The beautiful walking trail, large park, soccer field, ball diamond, spray park and, of course, playground are just a few exciting things to mention. In the winter, we particularly enjoy the huge tobogganing hill right in the park. Arbor Creek is the best neighbourhood for families!
