Photographing your home
to stand apart from other listings
This particular step may well prove to be the most important in the process, yet sadly, it’s the most neglected and overlooked by the majority of real estate brokerages. One progressive real estate broker describes photos as “the language of real estate,” and frankly, we couldn’t agree more.
The Internet is full of terrible real estate photos, a testament to the fact that most real estate agents know little about taking photos and nothing about processing them. Poorly lit and terribly composed images of homes that appear to be falling in on themselves or sliding off of the face of the earth, can be found at nearly every click on today’s most popular real estate websites. The real estate industry is actually quite good at making nice homes look awful and uninviting. With a few exceptions, agents fail to understand the importance of pictures (both quality and quantity) in attracting, or conversely, in repelling prospective buyers for your home.
As a skilled amateur photographer, Norm has a reputation for taking great home photos. He has spent hundreds of hours studying techniques for photographing homes and he’s passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Regardless of the size or price of your home, we will provide you with sound advice on how to prepare for your home’s photo shoot, we’ll arrive with the proper equipment to do the job right, and we’ll take the time required to shoot and process images that will ensure that your home looks great online, encouraging more on site viewings from qualified buyers. You’ll feel proud to say, “Yes, that’s our home” instead of being embarrassed to admit it.
During this visit we’ll also measure the home inside and out, and compile a list of marketable features.
