Thank you for your interest in placing a link on our real estate website directories. Here are our link policies, followed by a request form should you decide that you would like to pursue a link here. I hope you will, and I hope you'll also understand that I have these policies because I want to maintain a high-quality, consumer friendly website.
Our real estate directory page's only link to real estate websites. In case there's any doubt, that means real estate agents or brokerages who represent buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. If your site doesn't meet that criteria, please do not submit a request. If you do submit a request anyway, please don't be surprised if I ignore you.
We expect a reciprocal link back to our website so if you can't play nice, please play someplace else. There's no cheating here either, because I'm going to check up on you, over, and over again.
Reciprocal links should be accessible within one click of the home page. If you're going to try to hide my link or if I have to click 37 times to find it, that's probably not going to qualify as "reciprocal."
Our directories are arranged by province or state. We want our pages to be as simple as possible for consumers to navigate. All anchor text lines must begin with the name of the real estate market you work in and it must fit on one line. We're not into printing lengthy descriptions of how wonderful you and your website are. Consumers can make that judgment themselves by simply clicking your link. Okay?
Pretty much anybody in the real estate business (see policy 2) can get a reciprocal link in our directories, unless you look like are a scary mass-killer or something crazy like that. You only have to kill one person to be banned from our directory, for life!
Home page links are reserved for pretty special websites. We are looking for stuff with crazy amounts of information to put you up on the front page. As I don't have time to review all pages, especially those with "crazy amounts of information" on them, I'm counting on Google to do the work for me and I'll be looking for PR5's or higher for home page consideration. U.S. websites which qualify for home page placement only get "City, State" anchor text, because it goes in a really skinny column. All I will expect back from you is "Saskatoon."
If you don't do home page links on your website, don't ask for one on mine.
I'm looking for a link back with the anchor text "Saskatoon Real Estate Resource Centre" linked to www.teamfisher.com.
The fact that there are almost no real estate agents in my directories should not be taken as a sign that I'm a jerk. I just started these directories, so give me a little time, hey?
