Walmart’s move towards free standing outlets has left some gaping holes to fill in shopping centres across the country. Saskatoon real estate sales continued to push towards the high end of the range of unit sales that we’ve been seeing lately. Eighty-eight single-family homes and condominiums traded hands through the course of the week, seven fewer than last week, but right on par with the same period last year.

Silverspring home owners joined forces today to protect their homes from a grass fire that started at Wanuskewin Heritage Park and spread to the outer edge of the residential neighbourhood.

Saskatoon real estate sales bounced back in a big way as local agents reported the highest volume of houses and condos sold for any week this year at ninety-five units, topping last week’s numbers by twenty-eight and beating sales recorded during the same week in 2009 by four.
